Online Booking is Only Available For Services With Vanessa
Your experience at Alova Salon starts with being able to book online. Hooray for convenience! If you would prefer to book by phone (408) 890-8137 or email alovasalon@gmail.com, you can, but please be patient as we do not answer the phone while we are with a current guest and will need to return your call.
You will also be asked to fill out one of the super quick New Client forms in the links below before your appointment can be accepted. This helps us learn a little more about you and your hair before you walk in our door, while also familiarizing you with our salon policies.

I Requested An Appointment With Vanessa. Now What?
Please allow 1-12 business hours for us to respond to the request. If you haven't received an email or text confirmation within 24 business hours, please email us directly at alovasalon@gmail.com. There may have been an issue with the request being received.
Yay! I'm Confirmed. Now What?
Hooray! We Can't wait to meet you. Please plan to arrive 5-15 mins before your scheduled appointment in order to allow time for common Bay Area traffic issues. Once you arrive for your first appointment, we will start with a thorough consultation and the beverage or snack of your choice. If you have scheduled a haircut, get ready to sit back and relax with an invigorating scalp shampoo and massage followed by your customized haircut. I will finish up your cut with a blow dry & style. Haircut appointments will take 40-75 minutes depending on length & desired finish. Coloring appointments can expect to take between 75 minutes for a quick touch up to 3 hours for more elaborate results. Color corrections may take longer. While you're here, enjoy the peace and quiet of our calm salon environment. Feel free to use our wifi to get some work done, but we do ask that you keep cell phone conversations to a minimum out of respect for our other salon guests.
How Do I Book With Marie?

Can My Friend or Child Come too?
While we love children and your friends, please understand we are a 110 square foot salon, and can not accommodate extra people in the space. Salons can be a dangerous place for children under 12 . We ask that you please make alternate childcare arrangements for them due to safety concerns.
I'd Love To Send My Friend To You. Do You Have A Referral Program?
We sure do. The best compliment a guest can give us, is the referral of their friends or family. Each of our stylists has their own specific referral program. Please make sure you tell your friend to let us know you sent them.
